Dr. Vanessa Hildebrand was elected Chair of the Council on Anthropology and Reproduction (CAR), the main international body of scholars with research focus on issues of human reproduction. CAR is the largest special interest group under the American Anthropological Association with an active membership of nearly 300 scholars world-wide.
