Dr. Almeida will provide an overview of majors and minors offered by the department of anthropology and discuss possible applications of anthropology to various professional fields.

Dr. Bridget Haas will discuss her experience as a medical and psychological anthropologist working in a variety of settings such as residential adolescent psychiatric care, the US immigration system, child maltreatment, refugee health care, and mental health care interventions for survivors of torture.
