The Writing Resource Center offers both in-person programming and online consulting. It is located in Bellflower Hall with satellite locations in Nord Hall (Room 202), the first floor of Kelvin Smith Library, and in the SAGES Cafe on the first floor of Crawford Hall.
Writers may receive up to 120 minutes of writing instruction per week in either 30 or 60-minute increments. Writers may make one appointment per day.
The Community Concerns Reporting System (CCRS) is a reporting system where students can report perceived mistreatment stemming from one’s ethnic identity, gender identity/expression, skin color, religion, national origin, age, disability, or sexual orientation.
Complainants have the right to request confidentiality of a complaint of perceived mistreatment. The CCRS will attempt to keep complaints private to the extent possible and consistent with legal requirements and/or the university’s requirement to investigate allegations and take appropriate action.

No Retaliation Policy
Retaliation is prohibited and will constitute separate grounds for disciplinary action. Retaliation is the act of taking adverse action against a complainant, a respondent, or any other person involved in the process under this policy based on the person’s reporting or participation in the process under this policy.
Filing a Report/Resources
When a firsthand allegation of sexual harassment is made and the alleged harasser is named, members of the university community are obligated to report the allegation to one of the designated reporting office representatives. Please not that the Designated Reporting Representatives are not confidential resources.
Confidential resources are not required to report allegations of sexual harassment to university representatives unless required by law, such as duty to report an imminent threat to self or others.

All forms of academic dishonesty including cheating, plagiarism, misrepresentation, obstruction, and submitting without permission work to one course that was completed for another course are violations of academic integrity standards.
Violations
- Students found responsible for a first violation will be required, in addition to any other sanctions, accepted or imposed, to attend an ethics education program or to complete and ethics exercise as assigned
- If the university conduct file indicates that the student has been responsible for one or more previous violations, the case will be referred for Academic Integrity Board action
- If a student is found responsible for a violation after graduation and the sanction imposed makes the student ineligible to earn his or her degree, the degree may be revoked
- Violations of academic integrity standards are considered violations of the university’s Standards of Conduct and will be recorded in the student’s conduct record
Appeals
A decision reached by an Academic Integrity Panel may be appealed by the student within five business days from the time the hearing decision is made available
