Anthropology Day is a day for anthropologists to celebrate our discipline while sharing it with the world around us. Join us in celebration of what anthropology is and what it can achieve! Stop by Tinkham Veale University Center and visit the Anthropology Student Association table from 11:15 – 2:15 PM, learn about anthropology, enjoy snacks and free giveaways (while supplies last). In the evening, stop by Mather Memorial 201 from 5:30 – 6:30PM for our first lecture of our new annual Anthropology Lecture Series featuring Carolyn Lesorogol. Her talk title is “Pastoralist Livelihoods and Resilience in Kenya: The Interplay of Research and Practice.” Light refreshments will be provided.
